Joe Puckett
Director
Joe has been serving at Wings of Hope in several capacities since 2013. He has served individually and with his wife Sharon as a Barn volunteer, Session volunteer, and Session Supervisor.
Joe was born and raised on a farm in Stuarts Draft, Virginia. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Army, where he served as a helicopter pilot for 38 years. With his recent retirement in 2022, Joe is now a Medical Helicopter Pilot for VCU.
Joe and his wife Sharon have been married since 1991. They have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Joe and Sharon have lived in Montpelier, Virginia since 2010. He is a member of Vertical Church in Richmond, Virginia; serving in whatever capacity the Lord directs him as part of the body of Christ.
Joe shares, “I am so thankful for the many blessings God has given ranchers, volunteers, and me here at Wings of Hope. By surrendering what we are doing, stepping out and trusting Jesus with childlike faith, I have seen numerous miracles in ranchers, volunteers, myself, and my marriage through serving at Wings of Hope.”
